Imagine a girl who’s outgoing, fun, dependable, loving, and beautiful. Did you do it? Then you’ve thought of Jenna! She and I had such a great time on her shoot, and it was so fun spending time with her and being creative together. The sun was out, and a sweet breeze was blowing through to smooth out the heat’s edge, and Jenna outdid the sun in her radiance! She’s graduating from Ernest Righetti High School, and plans to move on to Hancock Community College, before transferring to a four-year university. She’s undecided on her major, and plans to either go for criminal justice, or get into beauty school. She thinks that criminal justice would be a great fit for her since she loves figuring things out, and the whole field really interests her. Beauty school, though, includes just about everything that she loves to do, so it’s a hard for her to decide between the two.
On our shoot, I wanted to surround her in as much nature as possible. The natural look around her accentuated her own inherent beauty, and the little bits of architecture around completed the rural feel. The hard work that went into making our location beautiful reminded me of Jenna’s work ethic. She’s a go-getter, and she’s constantly moving forward toward her goals. Her parents raised her this way: “I look up to is my parents because they are all around amazing,” she says, “and did everything they could to make sure my siblings and I are happy. They achieve everything they put their mind to, and never give up. They’re my inspiration day-in and day-out.”
I had a wonderful time with Jenna on her shoot, and the pictures that came out of it are proof. She made a point of letting me know that she appreciates the way I work. “When she took my sister’s pictures,” she says, "I noticed she made a real effort to make sure she was comfortable. That’s what I look for in a photographer, and she does a great job all around! She always knows what poses to have us do, what lighting is best, or anything else you could possible think of. Everything is amazing with her!” Thanks for your kind words, Jenna! I wish you all the best as you knock out your goals, one by one.
