I met one of the most joyful people when I did Ally’s senior photos. She’s such a happy and driven girl, and she helped turn the shoot into one of my favorites! She’s graduating from St. Joseph High School, and besides being a wonderful student there, she’s also a very active volunteer. She’s in Key club, NHS club, Make-A-Wish club, and St. Baldericks club, and she’s also on soccer and volleyball teams. In fact, one of her favorite memories from her years in high school was beating her rival volleyball team! Outside of school, she works at Testa Catering, and spends her spare time volunteering at the homeless shelter.
It’s that sort of caring and wonderful spirit that I admire, and I was able to capture it in her senior photos. The bright and warm sun that California’s known for was out, and it colored the photos in such a pretty glow. Ally’s smile shined brighter though, and we had so much fun in her session. Ally’s joy comes from her family, especially from her grandfather: “I look up to my grandpa because, even in his old age, he still brings joy to his life, and everyone else’s.” It’s that sort of joy that I love to see in someone so young, and her photos are a testament to it.
Ally’s heading off to a four year university to study marketing and business, and in five years, she’ll be starting her career and taking hold of her bright future. She wants to go to college because she wants to have the college experience, and to get a quality education to ensure her success. She had the same idea behind her choice for her senior pictures: “I saw lots of Jillian Marie’s photos featured on social media, and I fell in love with the quality of her photos. My friends recommended her, and I just had to choose her!” What a compliment that is! I know that Ally will do wonders in her career. She charms everyone she meets, and her wonderful character and her skill will give her the greatest successes. Congrats, Ally!
