There is not a day that goes by that I don’t find myself whispering a ‘thank you’ to the Universe. I know how incredibly lucky I am. All my problems are ‘first-world’ problems. I don’t worry about where I’ll sleep, if I’ll be safe or how I’ll get food for my family. Sometimes when I’m staring up at the moon and thinking about how bright the stars look, I realize that there are probably a million other people staring at that same moon, thinking that same thing. Its kind of mind boggling.
Gratitude: the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness. I think its important to find gratitude. I think you can’t find joy unless you pause at gratitude.
I’m thankful for coffee because without it, I’d struggle.
I’m thankful for my parents. That I’m lucky enough to still have them around. They are salt of the earth, hard working people.
I’m thankful for campgrounds by the beach and belly laughs with besties.
I’m thankful for family dinners as well as friendsgivings.
I’m thankful for a thoughtful husband who listens to my crazy ideas and always makes sure my car is filled with ‘rocket’ fuel.
I have a beautiful life and I try to consciously remember that everyday.
